New Highs Tagged — Bulls Tested Early
by Tony Rago

Friday pushed ES to fresh all-time highs at 7,017 before backing off overnight into the 6,950 area — a healthy pullback so far, not a breakdown. NQ still hasn’t printed 26K, and as long as bulls stay in control, that target remains firmly on the radar this week. We also have some key data on deck — CPI, PPI, and the tariff ruling — all potential volatility catalysts. As always, direction will matter less than how the market receives the data, especially with price already stretched at the highs.

For today, I’m focused on whether bulls step in and defend this pullback. The 6,950 zone is the line in the sand, and ideally I’d like to see 6,962 hold as a higher low to keep structure intact. Below 6,933–6,926, the tone shifts more bearish and opens the door for a deeper reset. On NQ, bulls need to hold 25,633 and work back above 25,750 and the weekly pivot at 25,778 to regain momentum. It’s a big week with plenty of opportunity — stay sharp and trade what’s in front of you.
