Big Week, Tough Zone
by Tony Rago

It’s Friday, and after a week of some outsized moves, we’re back into a familiar area where the bulls have struggled to finish the job. Following a strong run, this is the kind of zone that often invites consolidation rather than immediate continuation. We’ve seen several false breaks up here recently, which tells you acceptance has been hard-earned. For today, I’m leaning toward a more range-bound tape as long as price holds above 6,900 on ES and 25,412 on NQ — both are key reference points. Lose those, and the tone shifts more bearish, opening the door for rotation rather than balance.

With that in mind, it’s a session that likely rewards patience and discipline. There’s still headline risk floating around, so staying alert matters, but so does knowing when not to press. If you’ve already put together a solid week, remember — the market needs to force you into trades, not the other way around. Fridays like this are about protecting gains, reading the tape honestly, and letting the levels do the talking. Let’s get after it, but do it smart. 💪
