Relief Rally — Now It’s About Follow-Through
by Tony Rago

Markets ripped higher yesterday on headlines suggesting the war could be nearing an end, sparking a powerful relief rally across the board. NQ exploded more than 1,000 points off the lows and powered all the way back toward the 25,000 level — a major psychological area that traders tend to key off for momentum and positioning. When you see that kind of vertical move, the next question becomes whether buyers are willing to defend pullbacks or if it was simply short-covering driving the move. With the VIX still holding above 25, volatility remains elevated, which means the swings in both directions can be large and fast.

For today, I’ll be watching to see if bulls can step in on dips and keep the momentum intact. High volatility environments reward patience — letting the market establish its opening range and initial balance often provides the first real clues about intent. If buyers defend early weakness, that could signal continuation after yesterday’s surge. But if we start losing those early support areas, things could get choppy quickly. Either way, this is a tape that can move — so stay sharp and stay tactical. 💪
