Holding the Line — Or Rolling Over?
by Tony Rago
We’re slowly retracing off the ceasefire reaction high, and the focus now shifts to whether we can work down into that halfway pullback zone — NQ 24,750 and ES 6,720. Those levels matter because they represent a natural rebalancing point after a strong push, where buyers typically look to defend and sellers test for continuation. But for that setup to even come into play, we need to see acceptance back below 25,000 in NQ and 6,800 in ES. If price lingers above those areas, it suggests strength is still in control and opens the door for another leg higher rather than the pullback traders are anticipating.
Right now, everything feels tentative — and that’s exactly the kind of environment that can chop traders up if you’re not staying sharp. There are plenty of levels in play, but none that are fully confirmed yet, which keeps this market in a reactive state. This is where being nimble matters most — less prediction, more response. Let the open give us direction, watch how price behaves around those key thresholds, and stay flexible enough to adjust as the story unfolds. 💪
