Hold the Line Into the Close
by Tony Rago
Bulls did their job yesterday. They defended the big levels at 25,000 in NQ and 6,800 in ES, then pushed price right back up toward the ceasefire highs. That is an important response because when buyers protect major round-number support and reclaim ground quickly, it tells you they are still active and willing to absorb pressure. Now the focus shifts from the bounce itself to whether they can keep control and finish the week with strength. For that to happen, bulls need to keep price above 25,106 and 6,817 — those are the near-term lines that help maintain momentum and keep this move constructive.
At the same time, this is still a headline-driven tape, so flexibility matters. One headline can change the tone fast, which means traders need to stay nimble and avoid getting too comfortable in either direction. If bulls can hold those areas early, the path stays open for a strong weekly close. If not, things can get choppy in a hurry. Let’s see how we open, how buyers respond, and whether they can finish the week the right way. 💪
