New Week — Same Battleground
by Tony Rago

New week, new opportunities to make money! Quiet overnight sessions and a big doji on the weekly candle tell us we’re still trading in the same area we dealt with all of last week — right around 7,700 and 29,500. There’s no news on the calendar today, so it could be a quieter session, but we’ll see what the tape gives us. The key level for today is 7,700 — it’s this week’s weekly pivot and a major round number. Above it, bulls can push; below it, bears can take over. On NQ, bulls want to defend 29,500/29,412 and the weekly pivot at 29,422.

I always like to let the tape open after a three-day weekend before making too many assumptions. The opening range can give us a much better read on whether traders are ready to push out of this area or simply settle back into the same range we’ve been dealing with. So let’s stay patient, see where those opening ranges land, and go from there. New week, clean slate — let’s see what opportunities show up. 💪

Until next time,
Tony
