Don Kaufman here.  I’m watching people celebrate right now and it’s making me absolutely sick. You know what that Thanksgiving rally was? It wasn’t the market getting healthy.  It was the most violent move I’ve seen in 15 years designed to do one thing – get dumb a**es back in the market right before they

Don Kaufman here.  Happy Thanksgiving from someone who’s timed family visits better than most option spreads. Let me paint you the picture: My wife’s family flies in December 4th. My parents arrive December 5th.  I fly out December 5th afternoon. There’s less than a 24-hour crossover period, and I’ve timed this very effectively. I can

Don Kaufman here.  I had a great time on Schwab TV this morning breaking down what’s really happening in this market. Everyone’s asking: Is AI a bubble? Here’s what I told them – we’re in the latter innings, and it’s all about rotation now. Google versus Nvidia. That’s it. That’s all that’s really left driving

Don Kaufman here.  First things first – I’m going live at 2 PM Eastern today to break down exactly how to trade this insane volatility we’re seeing. The market’s gone completely schizophrenic, and if you’re not positioned correctly, you’re going to get run over.  Join me in 15 minutes. Now, about Google gaining a trillion

Don Kaufman here.  I think Bitcoin is the biggest pile of crap ever, and it has nothing to do with the technology. It’s because you can see what everyone’s doing on it.  And that p****s me off to no end. As a trader, do you want full transparency?  It’s like playing a game of cards

Don Kaufman here.  My phone was ringing all week. People calling me, freaking out. “Don, what’s happening? NVIDIA crashed! What do we do?” Then Friday hits and suddenly it’s “Don, we’re up 700 points! Should I buy the rally?” I’m sitting there looking at my screens thinking: Are you kidding me? The Dow swung 1,400

Don Kaufman here.  So this morning the Dow was ripping 700 points. Nvidia beat earnings, Jensen Huang said Blackwell demand is “off the charts,” and you know what I’m hearing all over Twitter? “The bear thesis is falling apart.” Everyone’s partying. Tech stocks flying. Meta up 10%. Tesla up 4%. Dogs and cats living together

Don Kaufman here. I just wrapped up Schwab’s Trading 360 show. Marley and Kayden had me break down three trades live on air. Roblox. Bitcoin ETF. Netflix. Three completely different setups. Three different strategies. But here’s the thing… Each one is based on the same core principle I’ve been hammering: we’re not in a “buy

Don Kaufman here.  What do you do for a living? I’m short crap. For 27 years. And I’m loving it. That’s my response when strangers ask about my career. While most traders are getting chopped up in today’s fourth straight losing session, I’m sitting pretty – having closed my XLE position for a 30% gain

Don Kaufman here.  So I’m watching everyone obsess over NVIDIA earnings this week, and honestly, I get it. But there’s something else happening that’s got my attention. I heard the term “CDS” more in the last two months than I’ve heard in the previous 15 years. CDS stands for credit default swaps – basically insurance
