Hawkish Powell Pummels Bonds as 5-10 Yield Curve Inverts

Fed Chairman Powell pointed to the potential need to raise by 50bp and more aggressive quantitative tightening during a Q&A session today. The result was an inversion in the yield curve with 5-year U.S. Treasury yields rising above the 10-year.
