Headline Risk Tape — Stay Nimble

This is the kind of tape where you have to stay flexible and trade what is in front of you. We are heading into a volatile session with plenty of opportunity on the board, but there is real headline risk out there, and that means direction can change fast. In this kind of environment, stops matter even more than usual. The market can look clean one minute and completely reprice the next, so the focus early on is staying disciplined and not getting caught leaning too hard in one direction.
I’ll be watching VIX and crude closely for clues. If crude pushes above 100, that likely adds pressure and makes it harder for the market to sustain a rally. On the upside, I’d like to see a gap fill and then a push back toward the weekly open — that would give bulls something more constructive to work with. But first, let’s see how we open and let price tell the story from there. Plenty of movement out there today, just make sure you stay sharp, stay patient, and protect yourself. 💪
