Urban Outfitters (URBN) hit a major “manipulation groove” today. The algos jammed it up! The thing you need to understand about algos is they sniff out trends. Yet they’re programmed with such a confluence of data points… sometimes it’s impossible to know what trend they’re actually following.
That’s the case today with URBN…just look at it!
The algos just kept walking it up and up and up… while they sucked out any whiff of a two-sided trade. What was the trend they were chasing? Who knows?!
There was no news on retail. They just swaggered in, flexed their buying muscles, and squeezed the heck out of it! And a whole bunch of other retail stocks too! One telling hallmark of stealth A.I. activity is the beautiful, curated channel you see above.
The algos are NOT about to let price escape that channel. It’s a hijack in progress! When you see it start to develop… pay attention. It’s a key sign of knowing a significant opportunity just landed in your lap. I’ll share more soon!
