September Opens With a Selloffby Tony Rago Big pullback hitting into the open — VIX pushing toward 19 and the tape can’t hold a bid.   End of Month Mark-Up on Deckby Tony Rago ES notched a new RTH high yesterday and is camped right back at 6500/6488. For bulls, the mission is simple: hold the line and close above 6500 to finish the week and the month strong. NQ has the same task — defend 23,500 and 23,612 and close above those levels into month-end. Bears only get a seat at the table if they can break 23,412 and 6462. Doesn’t look likely, but we’ve got to stay ready for anything. PMI and consumer confidence hit this morning, so keep that in mind as we set up.   Bulls Keep Scooping the Dipsby Tony Rago NVDA’s numbers hit and flushed us down to 6459 and 23,434, taking out the prior day’s lows. But just as quick, buyers stepped in and dragged price back into the same range we’ve been chopping in. Overnight dip was scooped, and we’re sitting right back at 23,633 and 6500 into the open. If weakness shows up early, we could easily retest those NVDA lows. But if bulls defend and push, I’ll be watching for a move toward the weekly highs at 6506 and 23,689. On NQ, bulls need to reclaim 23,500 and their weekly pivot to keep the upside momentum alive.
