Can I link charts and watch lists in Thinkorswim?
Yes, you can link the watch list with the charts and trade tab. Next to the symbol on the chart click the vertical link. There’s drop down with colors. Just match the colors to what you want linked. For example, match red on your watch list with red on your charts.

How to Import into thinkorswim:

How do I put on a TheoTrade Idea in thinkorswim?
Copy the precise trade in the email… highlight, right click and hit COPY…
Now go to TOS TRADE TAB under ORDER ENTRY TOOLS (bottom of the screen) and click on the COPY/PASTE from CLIPBOARD button located bottom right near confirm and send button. This should paste the order directly into TOS, set the contract size and you are good to go!
What are the tick symbols in thinkorswim?
Here’s the most popular symbols:
$TICK – NYSE ticks
$TICK/Q – Nasdaq
$TIKI – Dow Jones
If you want to look up any TICK put a $ sign in the symbol field on your TOS chart. Click the drop down menu. Then Click the Indicators Tab. You’ll have all the TICK symbols.
How do I show the P&L percentage on the Account Page in Thinkorswim?
You need to go into TOS SETUP (upper right) –> application settings —> Positions –> position p/l layout and switch it to Percent/Day.
Is there a discounted commission rate with TD Ameritrade/Thinkorswim for TheoTrade members?
TDA recently moved their U.S. based clients to .65 per contract and free stock trading. That pricing is lower than our previously negotiated member rates at 1.00 per contract. Line up a trade on your platform to verify the pricing was applied to your account. It’s possible we may have an even lower member rate down the road.
How do I Expand the Area on my TOS Chart?
On your Charts tab click Style –> Settings –> Time Axis –> Expansion area and enter the number of bars to the right you’d like. Then click Apply.
